Does Noboremed Secrets really work? I notice lots of people keep on talking about Noboremed Secrets. But Im not sure if it's good enough to fix your shingles issue inherently .

Don't you just love reading the comments from all of the self-proclaimed experts.
wrong! Definitely not long lived, may get a couple seasons out of it depending on climate conditions
U didn't round your corners, didn't use primer or seam tape no T patch over the seam you crossed and I've never see some one clean with a brush
Nice clean work, however, it is very important to round the corners of the patch. A square corner is more likely to be peeled back if impacted by foot traffic or some other reason. In this case, it's not so serious because it's a large patch and there is a large overlap onto the roof. When it's smaller, there is shorter distance between the edge and open roof cavity.
this dude don't know what he's doing lol
guys it old schools
How dumb is that?
Rubber roofs like this are not designed to be walked on, are they?
this is not accurate. he should used seam tape and round the corners. i also noticed this guy used a brush to cleam the membranes. use a rag according to firestone, sarnafil,John mansville, and other manufacturers. and when applying quick prime your suppose to use primer pads that are made to penetrate the membranes not rollers or brushes. then use lap sealant
Tommy you blew my mind brother , for decades Tommy & Norm have been my idols & until watching this video have never saw either man make a mistake , Tommy made 4 mistakes in this video .
1st is not cutting out all the old " uncured" rubber before patching , it's not good to glue cured rubber over uncured rubber & can blister .
2nd is square corners of the patch , all corners of any mil EPDM should be rounded , when rubber shrinks & tightens up square corners will pop up , and square corners can lift by snow & ice movement , or foot traffic .
#3 Patch size , the patch should extend a full 12 inches on all sides of the repair , 6 inches will work but having the full 12 inches is industry standard .
4 Seam tape vs seam caulk , all rubber to rubber seams not adhered using seam tape with 1/8th inch tape exposure must be caulked using seam caulk .
if you have a leaking rubber roof call a roofer. there are so many variables that could make this a temporary patch doing it this way.
thats not true
the leak came back a week later
good video most membrane comp would recommend rounding all edges
Thank you sir i am learning a lot from your videos
Some roofing companies would tell you that you need to replace the whole roof, and not do the job half as well as Tommy.
Having Tommy looking over your shoulder while you use powertools has to be stressful. 🙂
